We are looking for a Senior Tendering & Procurement Engineer.

Job role

The Senior Tendering & Procurement Engineer will be responsible for managing and leading the complete tendering cycle, including bid preparation, cost estimation, sourcing, and procurement planning. This role will play a critical part in securing new projects through accurate, timely, and competitive tender submissions and in ensuring procurement activities align with project requirements and company policies.

Key responsibilities

Lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial bids for construction projects.

Analyze and prepare detailed cost estimates.

Identify, evaluate, and price materials, equipment, labor, and subcontractor services required for tenders.

Maintain a database of prices, suppliers, subcontractors, and historical cost data for continuous improvement in bidding accuracy.

Evaluate technical and commercial offers, ensuring compliance with specifications and project requirements.

Generate regular reports on tender status, procurement activities, and cost comparisons for management review.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

8–10 years of progressive experience in tendering, estimation, and procurement within the construction industry.

Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High level of commercial acumen and cost consciousness.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Valid transferrable visa

Available to start in 2 months
